Stalker bodybuilder, 32, is branded a monster by his girlfriend after he smashed up her house

A stalker bodybuilder who verbally abused and harassed his ex-girlfriend after meeting her at a gym has now admitted smashing up his new lover's home.

Dale Moir threatened to share pornographic pictures of Rebecca Cundall, 25, and subjected her to a ten-month stalking campaign in 2019.

The 32-year-old was spared jail but has now pleaded guilty to cutting up his new girlfriend's clothes with scissors and trashing her home after their relationship turned sour.

Last week, Tameside Magistrates Court heard how the defendant threw a chair at his victim's fridge, broke a £300 TV, smashed glass doors and damaged a £1,000 iPhone in separate rages at her home in Bury, Greater Manchester.

His victim, who wants to remain anonymous, branded Moir a 'monster' who has 'ruined my life'. She told MailOnline: 'He needs locking up and should of been the first time.'

Moir, of Whitefield, Greater Manchester, pleaded guilty to seven counts of criminal damage and will be sentenced on June 4.

Prosecuting Joe Seale said: 'The problems arose from the disintegration of the relationship with the complainant.

'He caused damage to various items in her house such as the TV and threw a chair causing damage to the fridge.

'I would draw particular attention to him cutting up her clothes with scissors.'

In August 2019, Moir was found guilty of harassment after subjecting his teacher ex-girlfriend to a ten-month stalking campaign.

He was spared jail with a suspended sentence at Manchester Magistrates Court after being convicted of harassing and verbally abusing Rebecca Cundall, 25.

Moir hurled abuse at her and threatened to share pornographic images of her from his mobile phone to other gym users at Total Fitness gym.

The court heard Moir met Miss Cundall at the gym five years earlier but, after the pair split in 2018, left her constantly 'looking over her shoulder'.

At an earlier hearing, Miss Cundall said: 'The guy is always there and he is always going to be there.

'I can't live my life and I can't have new relationships. People don't want to speak to me, they say: 'I don't want to deal with that.'

She told junior prosecutors about the first time he targeted her, saying: 'I was doing my workout and Dale tried to interact with me.

'I told him it was over and that I didn't want to speak to him but he kept walking over and taking my chalk that I was using for my session.

'He then picked up my stuff and my chalk, including my headphones, threw it in the bin and then he walked off. On the next occasion when I was training, he kept walking over to me and was showing me a picture on his phone.

'I couldn't make out what it was as it was so quick but he was telling me it was a sexual picture of me. I said: 'How did you get that?' But he was threatening to show people.'

He branded his ex a 's**g' and a 'spotty b****' in front of other gym members, driving her to find a new gym, only for him to follow her.

Moir, who works for a security company, denied the stalking between March last year and January 2019, but he was found guilty after a trial in which he accused 'fixated' Miss Cundall of making the whole thing up.

Handing him a 16-week suspended prison term, Manchester JPs said he had put 'his own interpretation' on events to mitigate his behaviour.

Moir was also ordered to complete 13 rehabilitation requirement days, and pay £715 costs and victim surcharge. He has unpaid court costs of £270 from his previous convictions.
